Student Farewell Program “SMRITIYAN”

Objective: The Maharishi School of Humanities, MUIT Lucknow Campus, bid farewell to the final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students of the department and celebrated their journey and contributions by organizing a Student Farewell Program “SMRITIYAN” on June 9, 2025, in the MUIT Auditorium.

Participating Students:Students from BA and MA, all Semesters.

Event Details:The Maharishi School of Humanities bid an emotional and vibrant farewell to its final-year students on 9th June 2025, celebrating their journey with grace, gratitude, and joyous festivity. The program commenced with the ceremonial floral offering to His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and Goddess Saraswati, setting a spiritual tone and invoking divine blessings. Aryan Pandey and Pranjal Sharma (BA II and I Year) anchored the program with elegance and enthusiasm.

An array of cultural performances by students of II and IV Semesters lit up the stage with music, dance, and drama that brought colour and cheer to the farewell gathering. A special moment unfolded as final-year students came forward to express their heartfelt gratitude to mentors and share emotional anecdotes from their time at the university, creating a sincere atmosphere of nostalgia and appreciation.

To enliven the mood, a series of fun games such as Paper Dance and a Rapid-Fire Q&A Round were organized. These interactive segments stirred laughter and added a playful element to the afternoon.

A major highlight of the event was the much-awaited Mr. and Miss Farewell contest, where students displayed charm, wit, and confidence. Sakshi Gupta and Shashwat Tiwari were rightfully honoured with the titles of Miss Farewell and Mr. Farewell 2025, winning the applause of their peers and mentors alike. All final-year students were presented with farewell gifts as tokens of love and remembrance. Refreshments were served to all.

The event culminated on a joyous note, leaving behind a trail of cherished memories. The entire celebration was thoughtfully curated and managed by the dedicated students of II and IV Semesters, making it a meaningful and memorable send-off for their seniors.

Students’ feedback: The student feedback for the farewell celebration was exceptionally positive! The event truly reflected the spirit of the occasion. Attendees highlighted the smooth organization and the warm atmosphere created by the beautiful decorations. The cultural performances showcased the diverse talents of the students and were well-received. Emotional speeches offered heartfelt reflections and encouragement, fostering a sense of pride and optimism among everyone present.
