Student Farewell Program

Organised by: Maharishi School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, MUIT Lucknow (in association with IQAC)

 

Objective: The Maharishi School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, MUIT, Lucknow Campus, organized a warm and celebratory Student Farewell Program on June 6, 2025, to bid farewell to the final-year undergraduate and diploma students and to honour their academic journey and contributions to the department.

Participating Students: Students from D. Pharm and B. Pharm, all semesters.

Event Details: The Maharishi School of Pharmaceutical Sciences conducted a vibrant and emotional farewell ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments and memories of its outgoing students. The program commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp and a floral tribute to His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and Goddess Saraswati, seeking blessings for the future of the graduates.

The event was anchored by Devangi Awasthi and Swarnima Shukla of B. Pharm VI Sem and D. Pharm I Year, respectively. The program featured a range of cultural performances including solo singing, group dance, and skits by students of B. Pharm VI Sem and D. Pharm I Year, adding joy and enthusiasm to the occasion. A touching segment of the event allowed final-year students to share their experiences, offer gratitude to faculty members, and relive cherished memories, creating an atmosphere filled with nostalgia and appreciation. Fun-filled games added a playful spirit to the celebration.

The Mr. and Miss Farewell contest was a major attraction, showcasing the confidence and creativity of students. Ms. Amita Singh and Sambhav Mishra were crowned Miss Farewell and Mr. Farewell 2025, respectively receiving applause and admiration from peers and faculty. Each final-year student was presented with a farewell gift as a token of love and remembrance. The event was successfully coordinated by Mr. Vipin Kesharwani, Mrs. Pranki Shukla & Mr. Akash Singh along with respective class coordinators and faculty members who served as mentors for different responsibilities.

 

Students Feedback:

The feedback of the farewell party among the students was exceptionally positive. The event highlighted the enthusiasm among the students and reflected the warm atmosphere among each other. The cultural performance showcased the diverse talent of the students, the speeches offered encouragement and optimistic approach among the attendees.

The organizers are especially thankful to Dr. Pavan Kumar, Dean of the Maharishi School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSOPS), Dr. Vikas Shukla, Dean of Student Welfare, and Dr. Rupam Singh, Dean of the Maharishi School of Humanities (MSOH), for their significant contributions to the smooth coordination of the event. The organizers further extend heartfelt thanks to Senior Administrative Officer Dr. Rajesh Singh, all faculty members, staff, and the IT Cell for their dedicated efforts and efficient coordination, which played a vital role in the event’s grand success.
