SAYONARA- Farewell 2025

Objective: The Maharishi School of Engineering and Technology, MUIT Lucknow Campus, in association with IQAC, successfully organized "SAYONARA," a memorable farewell ceremony to celebrate and bid adieu to batch of 2021-22 and 2023-24 of UG and PG respectively. The primary objective of a farewell is to bid adieu and express good wishes to those who are departing. It serves as an opportunity to acknowledge their contributions and celebrate the time spent together.

Participating Students: Existing and passing out students of MSOET.

Event Details: The Sayonara Farewell Programme 2025 at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow, unfolded with great enthusiasm, emotion, and heartfelt celebrations. The MUIT Auditorium, beautifully decorated for the occasion, was filled with anticipation as faculty and students gathered to bid farewell to the graduating batch of UG and PG students.

The event commenced at 12:30 PM. Neilangshu (B. Tech 1st Year) and Shreya Shukla (BCA 2nd Year) welcomed with the arrival of esteemed dignitaries. A warm and traditional welcome awaited the outgoing students as they were honoured with tilak and kumkum, symbolizing their valued journey and presence in the MUIT family.

The ceremony began with a Guru Pujan and lamp lighting ritual, performed in the august presence of TM teachers Mr. Sameer Tripathi and Mrs. Sandhya Rani, evoking reverence, blessings, and the light of wisdom.

Dr. Kalyan Achrajya, Dean- MSOET, extended a warm welcome to the gathering. In his inspiring address, he expressed deep appreciation for the outgoing students, wishing them success and happiness in their future endeavors. He reminded them that while they may leave the campus physically, they will forever remain a part of the MUIT family as esteemed alumni.

The cultural performances, skilfully hosted by Parijat and Sneha (BCA 1st Year), brought color and vibrancy to the event. The segment showcased the diverse talents of MUIT students through graceful classical dances, soulful musical renditions, energetic group acts, and engaging theatrical performances, all of which received enthusiastic applause.

A soulful Saraswati Vandana, beautifully rendered by Divyanshi Mishra (BCA 4th Sem), added a divine aura to the celebration. The audience was captivated by solo dance performances by Kesar, Tia, and Vansh, as well as melodic solos from Ekanshi, Garima, and Aditya. Duet dance performances by Yashika & Kashish, Divyanshi & Vaishnavi, and Supriya & Tia added rhythm, elegance, and charm to the festive mood.

A touching video montage of campus memories stirred deep emotions, capturing the laughter, learning, and bonds of friendship formed over the years. A special highlight of the event was a lively stand-up comedy act by graduating student Chitransh Dixit, which had the audience roaring with laughter.

As a gesture of love and remembrance, juniors presented heartfelt tokens of appreciation to the graduating batch. Event volunteers were also recognized and honoured with gift hampers for their tireless efforts behind the scenes. Guests were served refreshments throughout, ensuring a warm and hospitable environment.

The celebration continued outdoors with a vibrant DJ music on the university grounds, where students danced in high spirits. The evening ended on a delicious note with a grand feast, while a volunteer photographer captured all the memorable moments.

The event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Divyanshi Rajvanshi, Dr. Shweta Singh and Ms. Pooja Shukla. The Sayonara Farewell Programme 2025 was not just a farewell—it was a celebration of growth, friendships, and a bright future. Seamlessly organized, the event reflected the unity and warmth of the MUIT community and left everyone with lasting memories.
