“Commerce Day: Igniting Commercial Minds”

Organised by: Maharishi School of Business Management (in association with IQAC)

Objective: The School of Business Management at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow Campus, proudly celebrated "Commerce Day 2025" on Monday, August 4, 2025. The event, was a vibrant showcase of academic enthusiasm, creative talent, and insightful discussions, aimed at fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the dynamic world of commerce among students and faculty.

Participating Students: Students of MBA, BBA, M. Com, and B. Com.

Event Details: The Commerce Day celebration commenced with a traditional and auspicious Lamp Lighting Ceremony. Following this, the esteemed Dean Academic delivered a warm welcome speech, emphasizing the integral role of commerce education in shaping future leaders and contributing to economic development. This was succeeded by an encouraging address from the Dean MSOBM, who highlighted the practical relevance of commerce studies.

The highlight of the event was the insightful audience address by our distinguished guest, Dr Indra Pal from JNPG College, Lucknow. Dr Pal, a renowned expert in the field, shared profound perspectives on contemporary commerce trends, captivating the audience with his engaging delivery and deep knowledge.

Adding a creative and engaging dimension to the day, students of B.Com 3rd Semester presented a compelling skit entitled "Bill, QR our Vyapar". This thought-provoking performance brilliantly showcased the growing importance of digital awareness and QR code technology in modern business transactions, earning widespread appreciation from the audience. The event also featured a remarkable exhibition of Commerce Models and Posters prepared by students. These innovative displays demonstrated students' conceptual understanding and creative application of various commerce principles. Following the exhibitions, a lively Quiz Game on Commerce tested the participants' knowledge and quick thinking, fostering a spirit of healthy competition.

The successful culmination of the day's events was marked by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Pawan Kumar Verma. He expressed gratitude to all participants, faculty members, the guest speaker, and the organizing committee for their contributions to making Commerce Day 2025 a grand success.

Students’ feedback: The Commerce Day celebration concluded on a high note with feedback from students, where positive remarks and constructive suggestions were shared, underscoring the event's impact. Overall, Commerce Day 2025 was a resounding success, reinforcing the department's commitment to academic excellence and practical learning.
