“Adieu with Everlasting Memories”

Organized by: Department of Science, Maharishi School of Science and Humanities (in association with IQAC)

Objective: The Department of Science, Maharishi School of Science and Humanities, MUIT Lucknow, organized a grand farewell event titled “Punardarshna-2025: Adieu with Everlasting Memories” on 18th July, 2025 in the university auditorium. The event was organized to bid a warm and respectful farewell to the final year B.Sc. and M.Sc. students of Science and Agriculture.

 Participating Students: Existing and passing out students of Science and Agriculture.

Event Details: The programme began at 11:00 AM with the welcome of dignitaries, followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. A devotional Ganesh Vandana added a spiritual grace to the event, seeking blessings for the students’ future journeys.

Dean Academics, Dr. Neeraj Jain, encouraged students to work hard, stay disciplined, and make the most of every opportunity. Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Vikas Kumar Shukla, urged them to uphold values, remain confident, and embrace future challenges with courage.

A series of lively cultural performances followed, including music, dance, and dramatics, reflecting the creativity and enthusiasm of the students. Special highlights included the announcement of Miss Farewell – Aprajita Shukla (M. Sc. Zoology), Mr. Farewell – Pawan Sharma (B. Sc. ZBC), Runner-up Miss Farewell – Soumya Mishra (B. Sc. ZCB), and Runner-up Mr. Farewell – Riteshwar Pandey (B. Sc. ZBC), who were selected based owing to their overall personality, participation and performance in various activities designed for them.

Dr. Nishant Kumar delivered the Vote of Thanks extending a heartfelt appreciation to all dignitaries, faculty members, coordinators, and students for their valuable contributions in making the event a success.

The event was coordinated meticulously by Dr. Kanchan Awasthi (Event Coordinator) and Dr. Pragya Tiwari (Co-Event Coordinator) along with student volunteers.

The programme concluded with a group photograph to capture the joy of the occasion, followed by the National Anthem.

Students Feedback:

Students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the university for organizing a memorable farewell. They conveyed thanks to the dignitaries, faculty, and organizers for their efforts in creating a warm, joyful, and unforgettable event that will remain cherished in their memories.
