The Maharishi School of Business Management  celebrated the  Commerce Day-2024" on August 5, 2024, at the MUIT Lucknow Campus with the blessings of His holiness Maharishi Mahesh  Yogi ji and distinguished members of the University administration, including Shri Ajay Prakash Srivastava (Hon’ble Chancellor), Prof. (Group Captain) O. P. Sharma (Director General), Prof. (Dr.) Bhanu Pratap Singh (Vice Chancellor), Dr. Girish Chhimwal (Registrar) and Dr. Neeraj Jain (Dean Academics), and Dr. Kalyan  Achrajya (Deputy Dean Academics) .

The Commerce day, aimed at creating awareness about Commerce Day, and appreciating the significance of commerce and trade nationally and internationally.  The event featured a series of activities like quiz competition, Poster making and student speech based on theme “E- commerce and its impact on Economy.

The event commenced with welcome note by one of the students followed by Introductory Note by Dr. Neeraj Jain including the significance and purpose of Commerce Day. Approx. 110 students of MSOBM enthusiastically participated in the quiz session and poster competition. The posters were evaluated by a jury panel consisting of Dr. Neeraj Jain, Dr. Kalyan Acharjya and Dr. Sapan Asthana. The students were very well prepared and confidently explained their thoughts about their posters to the jury panel. Towards the end, the prizes were distributed to the winners. 25 students were given prizes for Quiz competition. For poster making competition, the students were appreciated by awarding them with first, second and third prize, and two appreciation gift for theme-related speech. Commerce day- 2024 celebration concluded with Dr. Sandhya Sinha (Dean, MSOBM, MUIT Lucknow campus) gave the vote of thanks.

All the faculty members of MSOBM including Dr. Sapan Asthana, Dr. Pawan Kumar Verma, Dr. Rahul Mishra, Dr. Shilpa Sewak, Ms. Rashmi Rakesh, and Ms. Rishika Kaushik were present along with the students of MSOBM. The program was also attended by the Dean/ Dy Dean Academics.
