Objective: The Maharishi School of Engineering and Technology, MUIT Lucknow Campus, in association with IQAC, organized an Internal Round Hackathon-2025 on 19th September 2025. The core objective of the event was to identify and nurture innovative student teams capable of solving complex, real-world problems through technological solutions.

Participants: All students from MSOET of MUIT Lucknow Campus.

Programme Details: The event commenced with a formal inauguration in the presence of faculty members, student coordinators, and the organizing committee. The opening ceremony featured a welcome address by Mrs Pooja Shukla (Assistant Professor, MSOET) highlighting the objectives of SIH and the significance of innovation in solving real-world societal challenges. Participants were briefed on the schedule, problem statements, evaluation criteria, and expectations from each team.

Following the inauguration, team presentations began. The jury panel, comprising Dr. Kaneez Zainab (Assistant Professor, MSOET), Dr. Shweta Vikram (Assistant Professor, MSOET), Mr. Puneet Pandey (Manager, MIIF, MUIT), and Mr. Akshat Agarwal (Technical Mentor, GUVI-HCL), carefully evaluated the projects. Presentations were assessed on parameters such as innovation, technical feasibility, scalability, societal impact, and presentation skills. Each team received constructive feedback that highlighted strengths and areas for improvement, equipping them to compete more effectively at the national-level SIH.

The judges and senior faculty members shared insights on emerging technologies, innovation strategies, and pathways for scaling solutions, inspiring participants to think beyond the competition and consider broader societal and entrepreneurial impacts.

The Internal Hackathon Round not only shortlisted the best-performing teams to represent MUIT in SIH 2025, but also served as a launchpad for skill development and innovation. Students gained practical exposure to the dynamics of a hackathon, honed their technical and teamwork skills, and developed confidence in contributing solutions with real-world relevance.

The event was successfully coordinated by Mrs. Pooja Shukla, Mr. Abhay Bajpai, and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar.
