Engineers Day Celebration

in association with MUIT Tech Sutra Club, MUIT IEEE Student Chapter and IQAC

Objective: The Maharishi School of Engineering and Technology, MUIT Lucknow Campus, in association with the MUIT Tech Sutra Club, MUIT IEEE Student Chapter, and IQAC, successfully organized the Engineer’s Day Celebration 2025 to honor the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. The event aimed to inspire students to embrace innovation in deep technologies and pursue engineering excellence, in line with the national vision of driving India’s Techade.

Participating Students: Diploma and B. Tech students of MSOET attended the event.

Event Details: The Engineer’s Day Celebration 2025 at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow, unfolded with great enthusiasm, energy, and patriotic spirit. The MUIT Auditorium and Seminar Hall were beautifully decorated, creating an atmosphere of pride and reverence as faculty members and students gathered to honor the legacy of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, the eminent engineer, statesman, and nation-builder. The celebration was organized in two sessions – morning and afternoon.

The morning session commenced with the formal introduction of the event. Students enthusiastically participated in the Technical Quiz, conducted in the Computer Lab, which tested their knowledge of engineering concepts and emerging technologies. The faculty coordinators for this event were Dr. Shweta Vikram, Mr. Pavan Chaudhary, Mr. Om Prakash, Mr. Bhupendra, and Mr. Neeraj Das. Following the quiz, the Real-Life Problem-Solving Activity challenged teams to collaborate and devise innovative solutions for practical engineering problems. The faculty coordinators for this activity were Mr. Suraj Singh, Ms. Priyanka Vishwakarma, Mr. Ankit Khare, and Mr. Mohd. Saifuddin. Both events were conducted smoothly with the support of student volunteers and faculty coordinators.

After a short lunch break, students and faculty reassembled in the MUIT Auditorium for the Valedictory Session, which began with Guru Pujan. The event was hosted by student anchors Ilma and Nilanshu. Dean MSOET, Dr. Kalyan Acharjya, felicitated the Guest Expert, Mr. Sushil Chandra (RSAC-UP) and Mr. Sandeep Joshi (Region Head TCS Lucknow) in recognition of their valuable presence. The Chief Guests also delivered an inspiring speech on the theme “Deep Tech & Engineering Excellence: Driving India’s Techade”, emphasizing the critical role of engineers in shaping India’s technological growth.
