Objective: The Maharishi School of Engineering and Technology, MUIT Lucknow Campus, in association with the MUIT Tech Sutra Club, MUIT IEEE Student Branch, and IQAC, successfully organized the IEEE Day Celebration 2025 to foster innovation, creativity, and technical excellence among students. It also aimed to bridge theory with practical application while promoting collaboration and strengthening the IEEE community spirit.

Participating Students: Diploma (CSE), B. Tech (CSE), BCA and MCA students of MUIT and various other colleges like R.R. Institute of Modern Technology and SR Institute of Management and Technology participated in the event.

Event Details: The IEEE Day Celebration 2025 at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow, unfolded with great enthusiasm and energy. Dr. Pawan Dixit (Chief Proctor MUIT) officially inaugurated the event with a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The program continued with an impressive showcase of student innovation, featuring 20 teams. The Project Demonstration (Hardware/Software) segment showcased remarkable student innovations, from sustainable IoT devices to intelligent software solutions, reflecting strong problem-solving abilities and practical implementation skills. Adding a creative dimension, the Technical Reel Competition encouraged students to simplify and present complex technical concepts through short, captivating video reels, effectively merging technical knowledge with creativity and communication.

The Web Development contest emphasized design aesthetics and functionality, as teams raced against time to develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites, demonstrating expertise in interface design, usability, and coding precision. The Blind Coding challenge pushed participants to rely solely on their logical reasoning and syntax recall as they wrote code with their screens turned off, testing their command over programming fundamentals under intense pressure. All the events were conducted smoothly with the support of student volunteers.

After a short break students and faculty reassembled in the MUIT Auditorium for the Valedictory Session. The event was hosted by student anchors Ilma and Niglanshu. Dean MSOET, Dr. Kalyan Acharjya, felicitated the Chief Guest, Dr. Manoj Jain (Assistant Professor, University of Lucknow), as a token of gratitude for his valuable presence.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony recognized and celebrated the outstanding achievements of students in various events. The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by student anchor- Niglanshu expressing gratitude to all participants, guests, and organizers. The celebration came to a dignified close with the rendition of the National Anthem. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Peeyush Pathak (Assistant Professor, MSOET).

Students’ Feedback: Students found the hands-on activities, such as Blind Coding and Project Demonstrations, highly engaging and a great way to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios. Many of them praised the Technical Reel and Web Development competitions for fostering creativity alongside technical skills. Overall, participants felt motivated, inspired, and more confident in their problem-solving and teamwork abilities. They also appreciated the smooth organization and enthusiastic support from faculty and volunteers.
