Alumni Connect 2025 Series 1.2

Objective: On 29th August 2025, Alumni Cell in association with IQAC, successfully hosted the second session of its flagship initiative “Alumni Connect 2025”,  Series 1.2 – “Alumni Connect: Mentorship in Marketing” at MUIT Lucknow Campus. The objective of the Alumni Connect initiative is to build a strong bridge between alumni and current students by fostering mentorship, knowledge sharing, and networking. It aims to provide students with real-world perspectives, enhance their professional readiness, and create opportunities for career growth while strengthening the bond between the alumni community and the institution.

Participating Students: Students of BBA, B. Com, M. Com and MBA.

Event Details: The Alumni Connect 2025 – Series 1.2: Mentorship in Marketing program commenced with a traditional and auspicious lamp lighting ceremony. Following this, the Dean of  MSOBM extended a warm welcome, underlining the significance of alumni engagement in enriching students’ learning experiences and bridging the gap between academia and industry.

The session featured Mr. Ayush Shrivastav (B. Com, 2021–24), currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Sahind Technologies Pvt. Ltd., along with his partners Mr. Himanshu and Mr. Vivek. He delivered an engaging talk on the theme “Mentorship in Marketing.” Drawing from his professional journey, Mr. Shrivastav shared practical insights into building a career in marketing, the skills required for success, and strategies to adapt effectively from academic life to corporate roles. His interaction inspired students to prepare themselves for real-world challenges and opportunities in the marketing domain. The session was followed by an interactive Q&A round, where students including Mr. Harshbardhan Singh (BBA V Sem) and Ms. Shivangi Shukla (MBA III Sem) raised insightful questions related to startups and marketing strategies. Mr. Shrivastav addressed each query with great clarity, providing practical guidance and valuable industry perspectives.

The successful culmination of the session was marked by a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sapan Asthana. He expressed sincere gratitude to the esteemed alumni speaker, participating students, faculty members, and the organizing committee for their collective efforts in making the program a resounding success. The event was successfully convened by Dr Manoj Kumar Singh and supported by Alumni Cell member (MSOBM)- Ms. Rishika Kaushik.

Students’ feedback: The students shared encouraging feedback reflecting the immense value they gained from the interaction. Many highlighted how the session deepened their understanding of startups, marketing practices, and career pathways, while also inspiring them to pursue their goals with greater confidence.
