“NOVATO- Fresher’s Party”

Organised by: Maharishi School of Business Management in association with IQAC

Objective: The primary objectives of the MSOBM NOVATO-Fresher's Party, organized by the Maharishi School of Business Management (MSOBM), MUIT Lucknow Campus in association with IQAC, on 09th October 2025. The event was designed for the formal welcome and integration of the incoming batch of BBA, MBA, B.Com and M.Com students, ensuring they felt immediately integrated into the MSOBM family while fostering a deep sense of community among students and faculty. The fresher’s party served as a key opportunity for talent identification and showcase, actively encouraging freshers to confidently step forward and showcase their diverse talents.

Event Details: The fresher's party was held at the MUIT ground. The day started with Gurupujan ceremony followed by a welcome address by Dean-MSOBM, Dr Sandhya Sinha and Saraswati Vandana performed by Priyanka Yadav M.Com-III semester student. The program was marked by a vibrant cultural showcase, including dance and singing performances by students which effectively set an energetic and welcoming tone for the day. The central attraction was the Fresher's Ramp Walk Competition, which was strategically structured into two distinct rounds: the initial Round 1 (Introduction), where freshers presented themselves to the audience and judges, focusing on confidence and communication; and the subsequent Round 2 (Talent), where the shortlisted participants displayed their diverse skills, ranging from expressive poetry to energetic dance and singing. The winners were selected by a distinguished panel of judges from across the university, featuring Dr. Deepika Pujari from the Maharishi School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Mr. Suraj Thakur from Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology. After an interesting and tough competition, two students stood out for their talent and charisma, with Aviral (BBA - I Year) being crowned Mr. Freshers 2025 and Shivi Gupta (MBA - I Year) securing the title of Ms. Freshers 2025. The lively celebration, refreshments service and a vibrant DJ session that allowed all attendees—students and faculty to socialize and conclude the successful event on a high note.

Students’ feedback: The fresher’s and participating senior student’s feedback was overwhelmingly positive, underscoring the event's significant success in achieving its stated objectives. The organizing body received specific appreciation for organization, with students highly commending the flawless execution, citing the smooth, professional flow of the Ramp Walk rounds and the excellent setup of the venue. Most importantly, several freshers explicitly noted a strong positive impact on their sense of belonging, stating that the event significantly helped in breaking the initial ice and establishing a stronger, friendlier connection with seniors and faculty members.
