Pre-Diwali Celebration

Organized by: Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT Lucknow Campus) in association with IQAC
Objective: The Pre-Diwali Celebration at MUIT Lucknow Campus on 16th October 2025 was designed to bring the MUIT family together in the true spirit of Diwali. It aimed to celebrate joy, creativity, and devotion, giving faculty & non-teaching staff, and their family members a lively platform to showcase their talents while spreading light, positivity, and togetherness across the campus.
Participants: Faculty members, non-teaching staff and their family members.
Event Details:The evening began with a warm welcome and Guru Pujan, followed by Ganesh Vandana — “जहाँ नृत्य बन जाए आराधना—वह है गणेश वंदना”, setting a devotional tone for the celebration. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor extended inspiring blessings, encouraging the audience to embrace the festival’s spirit of light, unity, and positivity.
The cultural segment featured a vibrant array of performances. The BCA students presented “Breath, Bend and Balance (Yoga Dance)”, symbolizing harmony between mind, body, and soul. The BBA students filled the auditorium with rhythm and energy through their performance “Divine Beats of Diwali.” The BA students captivated the audience with “Dance Your Era, Own the Stage!”, showcasing youthful creativity and confidence. Adding a devotional charm, MSOPS students presented “भक्ति की लहर में रघुवर नाम”, where students performed gracefully to the soulful tunes of Hanuman Chalisa, creating a divine blend of bhakti and shakti. B.Sc. (Science) student presented “No instruments, just talent — feel the rhythm, be the beat!”, showcasing pure rhythm and coordination, while B.Sc. Agriculture students enthralled the audience with “Panchavati ke Raunak: A Dance Celebration,” a lively portrayal of festive joy and cultural spirit.
A special gift distribution ceremony further elevated the festive spirit, recognizing the talent and enthusiasm of all participants. The evening concluded with a vote of thanks by Dean Academics Dr. Neeraj Jain, followed by a delightful dinner at the MUIT Ground. The celebration was a perfect confluence of devotion, culture, and joy—truly embodying the Diwali spirit of light, happiness, and togetherness across the MUIT family.
