BotFiesta 2025

(MUIT Lucknow campus) in association with IQAC
Objective: The Maharishi School of Engineering and Technology, MUIT Lucknow Campus, in association with IQAC, successfully organized BotFiesta 2025 to enhance innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning in robotics by engaging students in practical competitions and collaborations with industry and academia.
Participating Students: Over 300 participants had registered for this mega event. Various schools and colleges, including CMS School, AITM Varanasi, DPS School, University of Lucknow, La Martiniere College, BBD(NIIT), Army Public School, R.R. Institute of Modern Technology and SR Institute of Management and Technology etc along with MUIT Lucknow Campus participated in the event.
Event Details: The 4th edition of Maharishi BotFiesta 2025 was a grand two-day flagship event (11th–12th November 2025) that celebrated technology, innovation, and robotics, attracting participants from across the region.
A vibrant and energetic atmosphere was created as students from schools, colleges, and universities showcased their robots and drones in various competitive events on the first day. Participants and visitors witnessed cutting-edge technological creativity and innovative problem-solving throughout the day.
Day 1: 11th November 2025 – Inaugural Session and Events
The event began with a grand inaugural session at 11:00 AM at the MUIT Ground. The event was graced by Dr. Milind Raj popularly known as “Drone Man of India” as the Chief Guest. The session started with Guru Pujan, followed by the welcome of dignitaries. Dean Academics, Dr. Neeraj Jain, and Chief Guest, Dr. Milind Raj addressed the audience. Dr. Raj inspired the participants with his motivating words on innovation and the power of youth-driven technology. He also visited various competition arenas, interacted with participants, and appreciated their efforts and creativity.
Dean MSOET, Dr. Kalyan Acharjya, also addressed the gathering, sharing insights into the future of engineering and technology. Mr. Chetan Chaudhary (Convener of the BotFiesta 2025 & HOD-Robotics Dept) gave details of the different event categories, participants and also expressed gratitude to all dignitaries and participants.
The inaugural session concluded with firecrackers, the National Anthem, and a group photograph of participants and volunteers.
The first round of events conducted on the first day following the Inaugural session included Robo Soccer, Robo War, Drone Race, Robo Pick & Place, Robo Race, and Robo Talk. The robotics competitions were held at the MUIT Ground, where the different arenas were meticulously designed and set up. Robo Talk competition took place indoors. Participants demonstrated exceptional skill and creativity, with many robots performing complex and competitive tasks such as war simulations, drone race, tug of war and robotic soccer matches, making the event both thrilling and educational for everyone present.
Day 2: 12th November 2025 – Final Competitions and Valedictory Session.
On the second day, the competitions continued with semi-final round in the morning, where participants went head-to-head in the Robo Soccer, Robo War, Drone Race, Robo Pick & Place, and Robo Race categories.
In the afternoon, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, the final rounds took place. This was the culmination of all the exciting and intense competitions, where the best teams and individuals showcased their skills to become the winners of each event.
The Valedictory Session was held on the evening of 12th November 2025 at the MUIT Ground. The event was graced by the presence of Sri Arun Kumar, Associate Manager, HCL Corporation, delivered an inspiring address, appreciating the participants for their hard work, creativity, and competitive spirit. The winners were felicitated and awarded for their innovation and excellence in the various robotic competitions, receiving trophies, certificates, and cash prizes.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Amit Pandey (Assistant Professor, MSOET), followed by the National Anthem.
Students Feedback: BotFiesta 2025 was a well-organized and impactful event that successfully promoted creativity, teamwork, and technical excellence among students, offering an inspiring platform to explore robotics, apply emerging technologies, and showcase innovative talent. It provided valuable learning experiences and motivated students to pursue deeper research and skills development in the field of robotics.\
