Report on

National Constitution Day

Date of Event: 26th November 2025

Organised by: Maharishi School of Humanities (MUIT Lucknow Campus) in association with IQAC

Objective: On 26th November 2025, Maharishi School of Humanities (MUIT Lucknow Campus) in association with IQAC, hosted the Constitution Day with patriotic fervour.  The event aimed to motivate young learners to understand their national, social, and civic duties while developing social and political consciousness.

Participants: Faculty and students from all Schools.

Event Details: The programme began with a warm welcome address by Dean MSOH, Dr. Rupam Singh, who highlighted the significance of understanding one’s rights and duties as citizens. Dean Academics, Dr. Neeraj Jain, further motivated the students by reminding them of the importance of the Constitution in India’s democratic journey. The students across all schools of Lucknow campus participated in reciting the Preamble with a lot of confidence, adding insights with their interpretation where they analyzed concepts such as Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity, and presented their contemporary relevance. Their presentations reflected enthusiasm, thoughtful interpretation, and a strong commitment to constitutional principles. The event reinforced the institution’s commitment to nurturing responsible and constitutionally aware citizens. The celebration concluded with the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem.  

The results of the competition were: First Prize: Ansh Trivedi (MA 1st Sem, Political Science); Second Prize: Sneha Yadav (MA 1st Sem, Political Science); Third Prize: Rimjhim Mishra (BBA 1st Sem); Consolation Prize: Harshwardhan Singh (BBA 5th Sem). The challenge was judged by Dr. Kanu Priya Verma and Dr. Vijay Srivastava, both Associate Professors (MSOH), and the event was convened by  Mr. Mukesh Kumar Pandey (Astt. Prof., MSOH). The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. R. P. Dixit, and the event was skilfully anchored by students Ms. Sneha Yadav and Ms. Urvashi Shukla.

Students’ feedback: The students responded positively to the session and showed clear interest in the activities conducted. They expressed that the event was engaging, easy to understand, and helpful for strengthening their learning.
