Orientation Program “Deeksharambh 2021-22”           (27-28 September, 2021)

It is easy to believe that ‘The better prepared someone is for an undertaking, the more successful the endeavour could be’. The same could be said of a student beginning a new experience at the University. Orientation Programme prepares the students for new beginnings and introduces them to the enriching environment of the institution. 

The Orientation program “Deeksharambh 2021-22” for newly admitted students was organized by Maharishi School of Engineering and Technology for the session 2021-22 on 27^th-28^th September, 2021. The conveners of this program were Dr. Vaishali Singh and Ms. Anjali Mishra.

The two day event was held in the university auditorium. Prof. (Dr.) Anuj Kumar Sharma, Associate Dean, R&D and Industrial Consultancy, AKTU, Lucknow graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the Inaugural event of Orientation Program.  The event was marked by the presence of distinguished officials of the University- Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Bhanu Pratap Singh; Dr. Dinesh Pathak, Director, Planning and Implementation; and Dean Academics, Prof. Sapan Asthana along with other officials.

The Chief Guest of the program Prof. (Dr.) Anuj Kumar Sharma encouraged the students to become self-reliant, seize every opportunity to learn latest and innovative technology and make every moment at the university useful for their future career. The session also included inspiring talks by other dignitaries, Saraswati Vandana by student volunteer Ms. Sakshi Tiwari and techno-themed group dance by old students.

During the Inaugural Session, Dean Academics (Prof. Sapan Asthana) and Hon'ble Vice Chancellor (Prof. B. P. Singh) also interacted with the students and advised them to work towards their personal and professional development, which in turn helps in the upliftment of the nation.

The event included introductory session and various cultural programmes. All new students were briefly informed about MSOET, its various departments, faculty members, syllabus, laboratories and workshops, library enrolment and examination procedures. Further, cultural and indoor sports activities were organized to identify new talent wherein all the new entrants were encouraged to participate.

The Orientation Program concluded with the Valedictory Session on 28^th September, 2021, which was followed by a Vote of Thanks to all the team members by Dr. Kalyan Acharjya, Dean, MSOET.
