CHEERIO- Farewell 2025

Objective:

The Maharishi School of Business and Management, MUIT Lucknow Campus, successfully organized "CHEERIO," a memorable farewell ceremony to celebrate and bid adieu to batch of 2022-23 and 2023-24 of UG and PG respectively. The primary objective of a farewell is to bid adieu and express good wishes to those who are departing. It serves as an opportunity to acknowledge their contributions and celebrate the time spent together.

Participating Students: Existing and passing out students of MSOBM.

Event Details:

The farewell event unfolded with a blend of formal proceedings, cultural exuberance, interactive engagement, and celebratory moments, creating a memorable send-off for the graduating batch. The commencement was marked by the traditional lighting of the lamp by esteemed dignitaries, a symbolic gesture illuminating the path of knowledge and prosperity for the students embarking on their future journeys. Dean of Academics, set a welcoming tone with his address, extending warm wishes for their success. Dean of MSOBM, offered insightful reflections on their time at MSOBM, inspiring them to achieve excellence in their chosen fields. The blessings of Dean of Engineering, and DSW, further enriched the formal segment. Adding a spiritual touch, Pratishtha from BBA IV Semester performed a dance on Saraswati Vandana.

The atmosphere then transitioned into a vibrant display of talent as students presented captivating songs and energetic dance performances, showcasing the diverse cultural tapestry and artistic abilities. To inject fun and foster camaraderie, engaging games were organized for students, creating moments of laughter and friendly competition, forging lasting memories. Quizzes added an intellectual dimension, testing the students' recall of their academic and campus experiences.

A much-anticipated segment was the Mr. & Ms. Farewell competition, where graduating/post graduating students eloquently showcased their personality, talent, and poise. The selection of winners was based on a holistic evaluation of their presentation, communication skills, and stage presence. Ultimately, Mr. Raj Singh from B.Com VI Semester and Ms. Aarushi Pal from BBA VI Semester were crowned as Mr. & Ms. Farewell 2025 respectively, and the deserving runners-up Mr. Bilal Sadiq from MBA IV Semester and Ms. Khushi Singh from B.Com VI Semester were also acknowledged with gifts and prizes. The ceremony reached its concluding moments with group photographs capturing the collective joy and emotions of the farewell. A designated selfie point allowed for more personal mementos with friends and faculty. The celebrations continued with an energetic DJ session, where students enjoyed music and dancing, creating a lively and celebratory atmosphere, all while memorable moments were captured in reels.

Students’ feedback:

Student feedback for farewell party was fantastic! It truly captured the emotions of the day. They expressed that the organization was seamless, and the decorations created a warm and celebratory atmosphere. The cultural performances were a delight to watch, showcasing the diverse talents within our student body. The speeches were heartfelt and inspiring, making us feel both nostalgic and excited for the future. The food was delicious, and there was ample opportunity to interact with everyone. Overall, it was a memorable and fitting send-off for the students.
