Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) program is offered by Maharishi School of Science as an undergraduate degree program spanning three years. The program imparts a wide base of knowledge and skills. The program endeavors to promote interest, participation and commitment in various subjects taken as a combination of three subjects.The program helps to acquire competencies in theoretical as well as experimental areas of the subjects in order to enhance knowledge and to further contribute for the development of the society. It helps to build a strong conceptual base so as to help in career advancement either in academic/industrial/or any other related field. The program is based on semester pattern. The program content is designed such that it covers all the basic and applied aspects of the subjects selected in combination. The knowledge of the subjects is imparted through theory and practical courses mainly and is supplemented with activities like seminar, short project under self-work course  and/or tours/excursions for on-field learning.

Basic Science programs are the foundation of any advanced course. They provide a strong conceptual base for any type of advanced/applied or research based course or training. It means that the students opting for basic science programs are well equipped with knowledge for road ahead.

It is not ncessary to have prior knowledge in Computers. However, some basic knowledge wil help to understand and grasp the concepts better and faster.

The course is basically designed to prepare students for a career in research. The most likely and much required progression is a Master’s program followed by a Ph.D. degreeand contribute significantly in research and teaching. However, avenues for openings in the industry can be explored by students as well. The students can enroll for specialised programs in their subject of interest.

The eligiblity criteria for admission to admission to undergraduate program (B.Sc.) in Science stream is 10+2(Biology) with 50% marks for ZBC and 10+2(Mathematics) with 50% marks for PCM.

Yes, we have well equipped library-both Central and Departmental. The students are allowed to access and borrow books from the libray as per the rules once their admission is confirmed and a Library card is issued to them. The library is provided with Text books, Reference Books, Journals etc.
