Apart from theoretical and laboratory based learning, pedagogical schemes emphasize the project based learning which provides a wider exposure to real problems and their solutions. Frequently Asked Questions

After 12th (Science) one can opt for direct admission to first year of B. Tech. If a candidate has already completed Diploma in Engineering (in relevant stream) then he/she can opt for direct admission to second year of B. Tech. through lateral entry. 

The curriculum for diploma courses is designed by Experts and approved by Board of Studies of University in consultation with academic and industry experts. Curriculum of MUIT is very much industry oriented and advance technology. 

The overall examination for Diploma program is conducted by the University governed by the guidelines of University laid down for the purpose. 

At the end of each semester, MUIT conducts theory exam of 70 marks for most of the subject (for each of the subjects of the semester). There will be an continuous internal assessment (conducted by subject teacher) of 30 marks, which include two class test, attendance and teacher student interaction.

The University has its own training and placement cell and also has tie-ups with a number of corporate and technical institutions to provide summer training/on the job training/soft skill training to our students.
