Objective and Description
B. Sc. (Agriculture) is a 4-year (eight semesters) Bachelor Degree program. The overall aim of this program is to train students to understand and improve agriculture productivity. It includes theory and practical courses. The course also emphasizes practical training based on industrial and field visits, hands-on experience in the laboratories, and interaction with experts through guest lectures, seminars etc. The programme aims to familiarize the students with various facets of agriculture through subjects like Horticulture, Genetics, Agronomy, Animal husbandry, Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Economics, Agricultural Extension, etc.
