Engineer’s Day Celebration

Maharishi School of Engineering and Technology celebrated Engineer’s Day with full spirit and joy. Engineer’s Day is observed to mark the birth anniversary of great engineer M. Visvesvaraya and to honor his contributions.

The day’s activities included the blessings of dignitaries, technical activities & prize distribution ceremony.

The program commenced in the Auditorium (MUIT Lucknow campus) by lighting the lamp and warm wishes and blessings to all by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. B.P. Singh. He advised the students to participate in active learning & acquire more skills. The Special Guest for the day was Prof. Manjit Singh (Punjab Technical University, Punjab), who, in his remarkable speech advised the students to have core values ​​along with engineering skills and problem-solving attitude. Dean Academics, Dr. Sapan Asthana, also motivated all the participants to come forward to solve society demanded issues (Engineering related) to take the country forward.

During the day-long program, there were activities organised at School level- Online Tech Quiz, Technical Poster Presentation & Extempore. Around 150 students participated & winners were selected and awarded based on evaluation by jury members.

On this auspicious day, a new society was established which was named as “SIEVERS”. It will be totally governed by students themselves under the supervision of faculty members of Dept. of Civil Engg.

The program concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Dean, MSOET, Dr. Kalyan Acharjya.

The program was successfully conducted with the help of faculty members and administrators. A special thank is due to Ms. Swati Singh, Mr. Anupam Kr. Gautam, Mr. Ritesh Kumar, Dr. Preeti Agrawl, Mrs. Sabita khatri, Dr. Shweta, Mr. Pawan, Dr. Ravindra & all MSOET faculty members for their efforts and constant hardwork.
