 “Women Development and Various Aspects of Women Safety”

On 19th April 2022, Women Grievance Redressal Cell (WGRC) of MUIT organized a one day workshop on ‘Women Development and Various Aspects of Women Safety’. Adv. Manjary Upadhyay (President and Motivational Trainer at Jijiwisha Society) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Speaker. Adv. Upadhyay shared her knowledge on legal aspects regarding the subject matter. Ms Kiran Pandey and Ms Sushmita also spared their valuable time to attend and contribute as Special Guest on the occasion. They interacted with the students and answered their queries.

The Workshop was inaugurated with opening remarks by Prof. (Dr.) B. P. Singh (Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, MUIT) while Prof. Madhulika Singh (Convener, WGRC) gave an overview about the Women Grievance Redressal Cell and discussed about upcoming proposed activities of the cell.

There was eminent presence of Dean-Academics, Dean-Research, Deans of all schools, Area Heads, Faculty members and Non-teaching staff.

The Workshop concluded with National anthem and vote of thanks by Prof. Sapan Asthana (Dean Academics, MUIT, Lucknow).

The Program was well anchored by Mrs. Alka Srivastava and successfully coordinated by Ms. Minakshi Nag and Ms. Swati Singh (Members of WGRC).

There were about 150 students (including both boys and girls) who attended and benefited from the Workshop.
